Gelli Civil Engineering was established in 1990 ...
... as a partnership and due to steady growth became a limited company in 2005 with a fully trained and experienced workforce carrying out civil engineering projects.
Our area of operation is north to mid Wales and the company’s objective is to provide and maintain high standard of workmanship using local resources when and where possible.
We have a strict health and safety policy and safety procedures, which are maintained and reviewed on a regular basis. Over 95% of the workforce is registered to ConstructionSkills Certification Scheme. Our workforce is highly experienced and motivated and undergo regular health and safety training to ensure that both our own safety polices are adhered to as well as the legislative Health & Safety Law Regulations. Each individual contract is subject to a rigorous safety assessment and we work within approved environmental codes and practices.
We are accredited to ISO 90012015; ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2004 (SSIP);
CHAS (SSIP); Constructionline; and Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).
We are also members of CITB ConstructionSkills and CECA (Wales) and we operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) to all three standards. -

• Civil engineering projects; including road, bridges, maritime coastal structures
• Drainage; installation of culverts
• Facilitating groundworks for housing developments
• Environmental Improvements and pedestrianisation
• Walling; crib walling; dry stone walling; mortarted stone walling; retaining walls; gabion basket retaining walls
• Site clearance and bulk excavations
• Fencing work to include:- chainlink, palisade, bow top, stock fence, timber hit and miss fencing; pedestrian guardrails
• Supply and installation of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS)
• Water Main Work
• Hydro Power Schemes -
